Main work 

I come to a company called BNET - TECH for an internship and turn to a short working experience. It is a technology company and smart crutches is one of their main products. They also do courses on STEM for students to experience. And my position is as part of the design team. In fact, our design team has a lot to do. In addition to our design work from graphic design to packaging design to advertising design, we also need to think about how to do publicity, etc., which will be involved in this internship. During this period of time, I designed a lot of different type of designs, like: billboard, social media post, leaflet and the biggest thing I did is to design a company mascot for them, though these design works, I experienced many new things that I hadn't tried before, and I have lived a very fulfilling time every day. In fact, if design team need to take TVC or some product shot, I will also be an assistant to help them.

Lesson learned and experience gained

In this internship at BENT - TECH, I have done so many things in this company, and I have learned a lot. At first I spent some time on their feature and the company style during the communication. It made me understand that when I first joined the company, I had to ask or ask questions, so as not to take more wrong paths when I first figured out the style. Of course, it is also very important to have a good relationship with colleagues. It is said that there are great strengths in numbers. When we can’t think of an idea or direction, it’s never wrong to ask your colleagues. This kind of mutual mention will also make our work better.

 

I had a good time in this internship, and I have earned a lot of experience and learned a lot through this internship. I have experienced what work is all about, and I am better at cooperating with colleagues and companies. Of course, my design sense has also been substantially improved though the design that I did.

 

Discussion and recommendations 

It is a good chance for me to learn though working. In this internship, I understand that I don't have to be shy to ask questions, and others will be happy to continue the discussion. This will make my future designs more in line with the theme and make my design smoother, so as to achieve a better design.

In addition, through the internship, I have learned to plan the schedule of my work and reserve more time for unfamiliar tasks. Just like the billboard, I don't know it needs to take a week to print out and I have also spent some time finding the print shop, so it makes me design it in a hurry. So I think I need to give extra time to unfamiliar tasks. 

 

Conclusion and references

In conclusion, I think I had a really good time and learned many things in this working experience. My colleagues and the company have given me a lot of space to do design. They also talk and laugh at work, and the atmosphere is very good. Will also be willing to help to think ideas togethers. This is good to grow and improve in this climate.
